Meet Sasha
Those who know me best describe me as an old soul, known for holding space for vulnerability & connection, for gathering community. I know myself to be a ceremonialist, a curator of feeling, of possessing a deep well of compassion for our humanity. . I also talk about my husky more than most people care to hear about.
My teachings pour out of a poetry soaked heart and practical embodiment . My offerings are a wholesome braiding of Science & Soul.
Post completing my degree in Kinesiology, I worked for 10 years as a trainer & athletic coach until the wisdom of Yoga intersected my path. It felt like a remembering, a long awaited home coming. For the past 15 years, I have guided practitioners in Yoga & somatic movement, facilitated 200 + 300 hour Yoga teacher trainings and led international retreats.
5 years ago, at a week long vision quest with a Shamanic teacher, I found a deeper connection to myself within the medicine of those ancient teachings & ceremonies. Now a certified Shamanic practitioner, I facilitate both private sessions and group ceremonies.
I have arrived home here in the East Kootenay’s, opening the doors to Kula for you all to gather, feel, heal, move, connect, and rest.
I can’t wait to sit with you.

Chelsea Boyd Gibson
Chelsea stumbled upon the path of Yoga as a nineteen year old attending Massage school in Vancouver, at a time when her life had been turned upside down and was drenched in grief. To be honest, she didn't really enjoy it at the beginning, but something bigger than herself told her it was important to pursue and was going to be an integral part of her life.
After years of wander & travel where she spent time in India and SE Asia dabbling in Yoga & meditation, and working in Heli/Cat ski lodges as a massage practitioner and stretch teacher, she decided to dig deeper.
Since then she has gained over 1000 hours in teacher training's worldwide, falling madly in love with Meditation, Yin & Vinyasa practices. She brings a grounding, playful, yet approachable energy to her classes, where she hopes the students always feel comfortable to move at their own pace.
She owned her own Studio here in Kimberley for six years where she poured her heart and soul into the practice and the community. Fast forward to the present moment, she is a Mama of two little boys, a full time Photographer, and a humbled Yoga practitioner learning to move and breathe in a body changed by motherhood.
Sharon Coombs
Sharon found yoga as a path to rehabilitation after a series of injuries. Yoga helped her so much both physically and mentally that she had to share it with others.
Sharon has been practicing and teaching across Canada for 15 years.
She uses her knowledge of the human body (as an RMT) and her curiosity to move and play to make each class unique, accessible to all levels, and as challenging as you wish.
"It is my sincere hope that you feel both cared for and challenged, empowered and sovereign, and that you may always return to your breath"
